Logitech is a peripherals brand our team uses every day. They're one of the hardware legends in the industrial design world and a real staple of the space, so we were honored to have them supporting the awards.
For this category, Logitech wanted to sponsor an award around what the future of work looks like. Not just computer and gaming peripherals, but anything that supports workflow as part of the company's broader mission. Entrants didn't have to do anything separate to be considered. Submitting to the Render Weekly Awards was enough.
With the help of Nick Jinkinson, Logitech's Global Head of Design, we determined which entries to the awards best fit Logitech's vision for the future of work. The winner receives a full suite of keyboard, mouse, and webcam from the MX series. Runners-up get to choose one of the three.

Winner: C+C Coffee Machine by Jaka Kordis
This one felt particularly thoughtful. It uses a current design trend, transparent housings, but brings a refreshing twist to it. We see a lot of transparent housing work right now, obviously with Nothing and Teenage Engineering so far at the front of the zeitgeist, and a lot of that work gets mimicked without real attention paid to the internals. This project not only has attention to detail at the internal level, it has a thoughtful evolution of it, showing cable harnesses winding through the product. It's an excellent take on a machine that does help you work, and one that would feel right at home in a future workspace.
