Render Weekly
The Community for Industrial Design & 3D Visualization
About
Render Weekly is led by industrial designers Tyler Anderson and Ryan Krause of Sample Studio. Started in 2018 while they were still completing their undergrad degrees, it has since grown into one of the largest online communities dedicated to industrial design rendering.
Render Weekly operates as a virtual studio: an open, low-stakes space where designers from around the world can explore iterative concepts, experiment with tools, and build confidence through shared prompts.
Each challenge is rooted in industrial design or 3D visualization and invites broad interpretation. Submissions are reviewed by our team, with standout work featured on our Instagram feed and website.
Occasionally, we collaborate with companies to run sponsored challenges. When we do, we prioritize incentives and ensure that the project aligns with the interests of the community. Participation remains voluntary, and we aim to keep the spirit of design intact.
At its core, Render Weekly is about celebrating industrial design and the global community behind it. If you're part of that community, thanks for being here. We're glad to have you.

How to Participate
To join a Render Weekly challenge, start by submitting your work through our website's submission portal (you will need to sign up for an account). This is our primary review point. We may also feature work found through Instagram, but we prioritize submissions that come through the portal.
Every three to four weeks, we announce a new design prompt on our website and Instagram. Each brief is rooted in industrial design or 3D, always through the lens of product visualization.
When you post on Instagram, be sure to use both #renderweekly and the specific hashtag for that challenge. But again, your best bet for being seen and featured is to submit directly on the site.
Once your work is submitted, it enters a review queue where our team looks at every entry. Selected submissions are featured on the homepage, our feed, and across other channels. All submissions that meet the brief and community guidelines are added to the public archive, whether they're featured or not.
Submissions that don't align with the current prompt or that violate our community guidelines will be removed.
