Season 8 marked a shift for Render Weekly with the launch of its website, moving submissions off Instagram for a smoother, more reliable experience. The site, developed with Kohlmann Kearley, is now the core platform, while Instagram remains a showcase tool. Highlights included strong prompts like Utility Blade, collaborations with Visune, Linda Bui, and Vizcom, and the return of the Render Weekly Derby. In the offseason, the focus is on building an archive. All past prompts are open for submissions, inviting both new and returning participants to contribute and help document the community’s work.
